Ifrane City organized the MiniBasket African Convention at the weekend, organized by the Royal Moroccan Basketball Federation (FRMBB), in collaboration with the International Basketball Federation International Basketball Foundation. -ball (FIBA).

Delegates from 19 French-speaking French federations participate in this congress, which will be followed by the organization of a second dedicated to the Anglophone African countries, he said, with the intention of seeing this sport develop and increase its focus, interest of the younger generations.

The MiniBasket Congress aims to strengthen the Minibasket movement of the world to reach the maximum number of young people from 5 to 12 years old and increase the awareness of the different national federations about the importance of MiniBasket as a future investment. basketball

The Convention is also a platform where experts from different countries share and exchange their experiences and knowledge.

The Ifrane Congress has the participation of 20 delegates representing several African countries, including Togo, Tunisia, Senegal, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Algeria, Madagascar, Gabon, Cameroon, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Seychelles Islands, Mauritius , Ivory Coast and Rwanda Represented by Louis Mugunga.

Swiss, Belgian, Moroccan and African experts also participate in this Congress.
